Sensitive Appointments
Everyone at Deta Hair & Beauty is trained in identifying and acknowledging the signs of family violence and we can provide, on request, quiet appointments for vulnerable members of the community. We want our salon to be a safe and comfortable place for all – somewhere our clients feel confident to come when they are in need. If you need help, know that you are not alone.

My name is Kyra: K-dog.
I’m the owner of Deta Hair & Beauty and I love every single thing about it. People ask me how I’ve managed to keep Deta Hair a thriving business and I can say with 100% honesty that it’s my team of incredible staff that keep this business a happy, healthy work place.
When you come to us in the salon the first thing people notice is how much fun we have. We also smash out some incredible hair and beauty.

My name is Emzo McRaeballs, I am a country girl with a great eye for style, colour and beauty. I love anything symmetrical and all things asymmetrical.
I have been interested in hair dressing since I was a wee lass cutting my sisters barbie doll hair, much to her disgust. Life took a turn for me and my three children in 2020 and made me realise how important it is to be happy in this lifetime. With that I joined the amazing team at DeTa Hair and Beauty and followed my passions commencing an apprenticeship.
I am roughly 6 months in and I am so grateful for the amazing influences surrounding me at DeTa Hair. We really do make a great team.

I’m the mum of twins, a girl and boy. I am involved in local sports groups and school committees.

I’ve been a hairdresser at Deta for 2 years now. I’ve met so many wonderful people, listened to heaps of stories and learnt learnt learnt.
Not a day goes by that this hasn’t been a crazy adventure. I still love getting to meet people, helping them leave with more confidence and knowing they are beautiful inside and out.
I love cutting and colouring hair but meeting my clients and working with our girls has made my job not feel like work.
